Repeatable long-range precision requires a propellant that constantly acts over extreme temperatures. Alliant Powder® Reloder 16, like Reloder 23 and AR CompTM, achieves international stability through the use of the TZ® technology. It manipulates the material’s responsiveness and resists the natural tendency to increase pressure at higher temperatures at lower temperatures. The burn rate of the Reloder 16 is slightly higher than that of Reloder 17 and is well within the burning band 4350. This makes it ideal for traditional cartridges such as Spring 30-06 and Spring 270 as well as for 6.5mm of target loads and tactics where temperature stability is required.
TZ® technology produces consistent pressure over extreme temperatures. The proprietary de-coating additive in Alliant Reloading Powder Alliant Reloder 16 Rifle keeps barrels clean and accurate. The Reloder 16 has a slightly higher burn rate than the Reloder 17, within the 4350 range of burn speeds. It is therefore perfect for conventional cartouches such as 30/06 and 270 Win, as well as target loads of 6.5 mm and tactical applications where temperature stability is required.

Through our Forum members, some of the most popular reloading powders for cartridges are available for rifle accuracy. Powders such as Varget, H4350, H4895 and H4831SC are commonly known by handloaders to be lacking, such as Reloder 16, Reloder 23 and N150. And in the last few months it seems that Varget was almost impossible to find. Since Friday, 28 August 2020, many of these hard to find powders are available here.
